Tournament Rules
  1. Three Fish Stringer: one Trout, one Redfish and one Flounder. Total weight pays five (5) places.
  2. Same Trout, Red and Flounder ALSO to be used in Big Trout, Redfish and Flounder pots.
    All three pots pay five (5) places.
  3. All three fish must be legal TP&W lengths. No oversized Red Fish.
  4. Four man team per boat Pro and Amateur Division. If you hire a guide to fish the Pro Division, the guide counts as a fisherman.
  5. You can only have one (1) of each species in your live well (EXAMPLE: You have a 22” Redfish and one hour later you catch a 27” Redfish, you must release the smaller fish).
  6. Definition of a “Pro” Team: Pro fishing Guides, any one person that has fished the FLW Tour, Texas Trout & Redfish Series, Baffin Bay Bashes, etc.
  7. Definition of an “Amateur” Team: Four fisherman who have never has a Guide License or fished in a Pro Tournament… See Rule #6.
  8. One person to stay in the boat at all times. The other three fisherman must stay in clear sight of the boat while wading (This is a safety reason and may increase your odds in keeping your fish alive).
  9. Tournament goes on rain or shine. However, if the weather is bad we may delay start and adjust weigh-in times.
  10. Each team will be given a “chip” and a start time at the Captain’s meeting. Each team must check-in in the morning at the time specified and leave in the order drawn. If you are late, you will be moved to the end of the line. If you do not check-in, you will be disqualified. No exceptions.
  11. All boats must leave from the specified dock, by boat, and return to the specified dock by boat for weigh-in. Trailering your boat during the tournament fishing hours is not allowed.
  12. Kill switch is to be used while motoring, Mandatory!
  13. Use of life jackets are the Captain’s option, however recommended.
  14. This is a Bay Fishing Tournament, jetties & surf fishing is prohibited.
  15. Artificial Lures Only. Livewells and bait boxes will be checked upon departure.
  16. Weigh-in time is no earlier than 2:00pm and no later than 4:00pm. No exceptions.
  17. All boats must fly the tournament flag provided to each team’s Captain at meeting.
  18. Weigh Master makes all final decisions on any disputes (EXAMPLE: On legal lengths/weights, his equipment will be used).
  19. 1 lb will be added to all fish for each live fish brought in. No deduction for dead fish.
  20. All Tie Breakers to be determinded in this order:
    1. Live fish vs. Dead fish
    2. Weight of Trout
    3. Length of Trout
    4. If still a tie, it will be decided by flip of coin
